Know the campus attached to the programme
Xinjiang University’s official overview lists Honghu, Boda and Youhao campuses in different Urumqi districts. Compare the precise location and facilities attached to your intended programme, and confirm its current international admissions arrangements directly.
Culture and a continental landscape
The national tourism office’s Urumqi guide frames the city through Silk Road cultural exchange. It describes an arid continental climate, longer summers and winters, and noticeable day-to-night temperature changes, useful context for preparing beyond a short tourist visit.
Plan with university guidance
Use the university’s own arrival and accommodation instructions, and check the current requirements for any wider travel you plan. A city overview gives cultural context; it does not replace programme eligibility, registration or travel arrangements.
